Need computer advice please

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but figured you guys would have the answer. My daughter wants a laptop and wants to be able to play some games without lag. She definitely wants a laptop so she can bring to friends. The games she typically plays are minecraft, world of warcraft, Sims, and Gary's mod. I realize laptop and low price aren't good places to start for a gaming pc, but for the type of games she plays what would be most important? Should I go with Intel or amd? Here's one I'm considering. http://m.staples.com/touch/product.html?sk_test=a#1269669

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

That computer has a slow CPU. What's your price range?

None of those games are particularly demanding, so you have some room to negotiate. But definitely make sure the computer you're getting is better than the one she already has.

Would like to stay in the $400 price range. Would I be better with i5? Is Intel integrated graphics better than amd?
Thanks

You can't buy a proper gaming pc for $400. Especially in laptop form factor.

You would honestly be better off not buying her any PC for that money, and instead giving her a gift card or cash so that she can use it towards a proper computer.

Do not... I repeat

DO NOT

buy her an underpowered PC/laptop.
