Hey guys I came up with a new computer build and was wondering if its any good at all, here it is:

Cooler Master HAF-X
i5 2500k
Asus P8P67 Pro
Cooler Master Hyper 212
G Skill Ripjaws 8g(2x4gb)
WD 1TB 6gb/s7200RPM HD
invidia 7900 GT??
Corsair TX 650w(is that enough to power up the whole system?)

Any comments or advice will be great! thanks

Your video card is MANY generations behind, and won;t be able to play anything, but otherwise your build is fine. Your PSU is fine for that system WITH a high-end video card (GTX-580). Are you using the stock CPU cooler? The HAF-X is a goddamn enormous case...

Daimon

as you can see.. your graphics is your weak link.. but you didn't specify what you'd be using this setup for .. If it's moderate/heavy gaming.. then go for something like a GTX 460 or Radeon HD 6850 .. or higher.... ($150 and up)

Thanks guys, and yea the GPU is from a previous setup as i'm using that for now.

How am i able to figure out the total amount of wattage I need from the products? I can't seem to find them anywhere

seach the web for a psu calculator.. then you just plug in your component types and it'll give you a good idea as to what you'll need

Thanks, rather hard to figure out how to calculate from the psucalculators.

I was wondering if anyone was running 1333mhz 9-9-9-24-2N on their builds? any comments on that?
