What ever you finally decide on, just be sure they acoustically(sp?) match your front speakers or the whole effect of the front sound stage will be off. The best thing to do is find out what matches and go listen to them. You have to live with them so they should sound right to you. Others can only offer advice on what sounds right to their ears.

Good luck.

Oh.. I guess you may be using those "audiosource iw8s " for mains.

The BEST thing you can do is use the same exact speaker for a center channel
and two more for rears (5 identical speakers)

Yep, I didn't clarify, I have 4 of the Audiosource IW8S, will use them for front & rear...

Can't really use them for the center channel cuz there's no wall to mount them in.

you'll need to get something from audiosource's line to get a matched sound then.

I would check with Audio Source and see if they have any center channel speakers first. If not check the local shops and do some listening in the sound rooms to see if you can find something that sounds right.

Do a little research, see if they're dark, bright, laid-back, whatever...they don't necessarily have to be from the same line like everybody says, just make sure they're timbre matched. But yeah, it would be easier to buy something in the same line...hence why I'm waiting to buy a CC-370 to match my Monitor 9s. Good luck tho!
