hi guys wonder if you can help me out on this one. i'm looking for a case with a door so i can hide all the whitey/biege stuff, don't really want to muck about with the drives just want to shut the door and hide them. the case i really like is the thermaltake 6000a, but now the problem i've got an audigy 2 platnum and the volume and mike knobs stick out quite a bit so i'm wondering whether i will be able to close the door any suggestions on a case where there would be enough clearence to shut the door or is anyone useing this case with the audigy 2 thanks

The thermaltake case is just a makeover of an Antec case, which is just a Chieftec/Chenming case rebranded. If you live near a Fry's, you can buy an Chieftec case and try to see if the door will close with the Audigy in.

I vote for the Antec SX1040! Great case , lots of airflow, good PSU
and your platinum will be fine.

I voted for this case because I have one :)

Just happened to see this over in the deals section. Awsome case, but you'll need to find a power supply.
Go here: http://www.buyxg.com/
They have the chieftech (OEM Antec) case with front USB and Firewire ports for $35 ($17 shipping).
