Someone is seling a '94 Pink Geo Storm for $900 and I'm goign to meet w/ him tomorrow. His ad said that there's only 36k miles on it but on his picture, the odometer read 73k, still low nonetheless. The registration has expired and the only drawback of this car is that it's pink. I think this is a hot deal and wanted to get your opinions on it. I'm not that good w/ cars so any advice is appreciated. Also, how much does it cost to paint a car? tia!
 
Get a mechanical inspection prior to purchasing.

I just made that $3100 mistake. I Bring it in the shop AFTER it starts stalling nonstop (a few days after purchase), $550 for a couple new fuel injectors, diagnostics, and some other odds and ends. Oil in the intake (oil blowoff I think?) which ultimately means failed o-rings and premature engine death. $350 to do a ton of rear brake work....but it looks nice....

Painting a car roughly $500-$2000.
