Need car audio advice...

I came into possession today of a pair of MTX Thunder 3000 sub w/enclosers from a friend. It's either a T384 or a T388 model. Sorry, no other label on the back of the sub. I'm looking for an amp to match up to it and my Kenwood KDC-MP225 HU I bought last year (Black Friday Best Buy deal). I'm trying to keep this on the inexpensive side as I'm, well, broke at the moment. (Under $125 preferred). I'm going to mount them on the tool rack behind the seats on my 98 F150 regular cab

Suggestion?

Thanks for the suggestion. I meant the cost of the amp by itself should be around $125 (little more or less is not a problem)

You might look into this amp, as it is cheap and a pretty good amp, built by the same company (DEI) that builds the orion amps, and a couple of other brands.

It would be about right to run the both of the subs, without having to worry about if they are 4 or 8 ohm subs.

when i was really into car audio a few years ago, i always bought new amps on ebay for atleast half their msrp. Get a nice efficient class D amp. Also if you got friends that work at CC or BB, they get major discounts off car audio items.
