Need Camcorder Recommendation

Personally, I know nothing about them.
Work wants one.
We are a training facility and they want to film the instructors as they teach. They then want to use these videos to critique the instructor and help them improve on their weaknesses.
The camera would be placed at the back of the room, approximately 30' from the instructor.

It should be:
simple to operate (remote control?)
hold at least four hours of video (the more the better)
able to play through a computer (USB?) to show on a projector
able to pick up the instructors voice and any questions the students ask

TIA

Seems like any mid-range camcorder will fill this role. The biggest problem you will face will probably be Audio. If an external mic is an option, you can go as cheap as a CX380 from Sony for as low as $450. If you simply want a camcorder with a good mic built in, check out the new CX430v from Sony.

definitely go with a unit that has external mic option. big upgrade to your audio, which seems critical for your use. In the $500ish range I'm not sure the quality and performance differences are significant. I'd just search for the features you want. Sony, Panasonic and Canon are all very good.
