I use my laptop at home and at work (winXp home). At home, I have cable interent and a DHCP. At work, my connection is static. Everytime I switch the settings to DHCP, the IP, gateway, etc info for the static connection is erased, meaning I have to type it all in again when I get to work. I'm sure there's an easy way to be able to switch between the two without losing the information, but I don't know what it is. Thanks

if you are using XP Pro you can go to the properties of your tcp/ip page and click on the alternate config tab and put in the ip info and flip flop. Alternatively you can do a search on google for apps that let you flip flop your ipconfigs on the fly. They are out there.
