Built a machine for a relative last night and ran into a problem. Equipment was as follows:
MSI 6526GL Mobo
512 mb Crucial RAM
2.4 P4 Socket 478
and other components that were not attached yet...
When I started the box, I got no video and continuous long beeps. The fans all started, and I got LED's, but no video at all. Replaced the RAM with known good RAM and tried the new processor and RAM in my own box without any issue. I told him to RMA the board with Newegg and get a new one.
My question is, is there anything that I could be missing? I thought about a short, but I used the felt washers and feel pretty confident about the way the board went in. Any suggestions would be appreciated though!!

By the way, the case is an Enermax w/ 300 watt p.s.
