So what, you just want to copy/paste a section of the track at the end?
Audacity.

Well actually, I want to copy the piece in the middle and paste it well.. In the middle.. 😛
I'm not an expert on this kind of deal, could you point me towards some good tutorials?

I'd approach it much the same way as you would Photoshop, only you're working with tracks instead of layers. Copy the first part, paste it on a new track, copy the middle part, paste it onto the second track or a new track, but at the appropriate time mark, rinse, repeat.
I haven't used any tutorials for it, so I couldn't tell you where any good ones are, but it should have enough documentation to get you by.

Timing is done automatically, then? While legally deaf, I still have somewhat of an absolut hearing in rythyms.

For ever. aphex, if you ever need anything and I mean anything, even surprise buttsecks, just shoot me a message.

Well it wouldn't be much of a surprise if I asked for it, now would it 😉

Am I seeing things, or are you really playing with the strings upside down? :Q

Yeah, I am. I can play both ways (low E up or down) but I prefer down, actually. Just makes a lot more sense to me.
