I just spent an hour looking around at every book store in the area for a copy of "The Sound and the Fury" (Faulkner) for english class on thursday, but no go.

I wanted to know if anyone could look around for an online edition or e-book edition of it. I've searched, but have had no luck.

I'd really, really appreciate this.

Hit up the library? It should be there to hold you over until you can find it for sale (if needed).

Everyone forgets about the library. 🙁

No go, checkout the library yesterday, and marty, would be a good idea, but I need it day after tomorrow.

Thanks for your help, though, fellows.

dude, that`s a really complicated book... you won`t be able to finish it in a day, AND actually understand it. Go with Cliff`s Notes for now.

I appreciate the thought very much, thanks.

Call every Barne's and Noble in the area. They let you sit in their stores and read books as long as they are open without paying for them.

Take a laptop or or just some paper and write your report while looking at the book.

A bit dickish, but unless they kick you out no harm.

 Most underrated resource, and surprise it's free! Checked out a Psych textbook, and it's all I needed to pass my Psych CLEP 😀

I have a copy you can borrow, but I want it back. PM me with your address.

I did my senior seminar in Faulkner. SATF is a tough read.
