Hey guys, i have a word document that has a password on it. I created it in college and i don't remember what the password is. Does anyone know of a utility that i can use to open the file?
 
Depending on the version of Word, it will take a long time. Older versions had a flawed password mechanism. Newer versions are not crackable. Look for the elcomsoft site and they have a tool you can purchase to brute force the password if it is worth the time and cost that they charge for the software.
