Need assistance w/ removing VIA drivers from Win2k

I just installed the VIA Ultra ATA drivers for my Epox 8kta3 motherboard and Win2k refuses to start now. I know the problem is definately with the IDE driver because it's the last thing I installed before rebooting. Can anyone tell me how to remove the drivers and restore the default windows IDE drivers?

oh boy I incounted the same problem with drivers when I installed win2K on my machine, I have to say I could not fix it and had to "restore" win2K, try booting into safe mode, hit f8 when windows begins to load (the very first load screen the black and white one) and select safe mode from the menu that pops up, other then that I think your crap outta luck 🙁

You could also choose restore last known good configuration. That has worked about half the time for me. Just remember to reinstall a couple drivers if they are missing since "last known good configuration" reverts to an older system profile to get rid of any of the changes you made. If not, I must agree that a reformat or reinstall of w2k is neccessary.
