Hey,
I had been having some problems like cookies not storing because WinXp was runnning on a non-primary partition (atleast i think that was why) so I went and used Parittion Magic 8 to try to make the wxp partition primary and the partition with win 98 logical.
It went to reboot, then it did some things, but now it will not boot windows, either the winxp or win98 (I had a screen before which would let me pick).
I used my windows 98 startup disk to get my pc to run dos, and I am able to navigate through all my files, and they are all there. However, I cannot run windows when I just try to regularly reboot, it says no boot device available or boot devices have no media.
What I am thinking, is when my motherboard asks my harddrive to boot something, the hardrive does not return anything because I messed with the primary and logical partitions I was wondering if anyone knew how I would tell my PC to boot windows, or boot windows from the dos of the win98 startup disk.
Thank you for your help.
