need assistance in NERO creating a CD from a downloaded ISO for redhat 7.3

I downloaded Redhat 7.3 ISO then I attempt transfer the ISO to the CD and then to the computer, however it doesn't work. I put in a disk I got from a member here for Redhat 7.2 and the computer reads it fine. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Any web site to walk me through? I've made enough coasters and have tried different download sites for version 7.3.

have you done a md5 checksum on the ISO to make sure it matches the original?

edit: for example, if you go to Linuxiso.org, there is a MD5SUM linky that will show the correct checksum. in nero, did you go to File, Preferences, Cache and run a test for all drive speeds? also, you went to File, Burn Image, selected the RH ISO and checked simulate before burning the cd?

hope this helps 🙂 at worst, i bumped ya thread 😛

I don't know anything about Linux but there is a problem in windoz about attributes when a CD-R is used to transfer files. Make sure they are not marked READ ONLY ................ or is that not in Linux?

I did the first suggestion.
I did the second suggestion but there is no RH ISO choice and and no simulate before burning the cd. Right now I am burning a disk at 8 speed to avoid any errors there was one sentence that said joilet and bootable perhaps that will make it work.
I have already upgraded to 5.59.9 or whatever it is earlier today.

thanks so far will report back in a bit.

follow the same procedure 🙂 i recently burned RH8 beta (Null) using nero and all three cds work fine.

assuming that you are using the Nero wizard heres what to do:

Select CD then click next, then select compile new CD & click next, choose other formats and click next, and pick "Create a CD from an image file" then click next, click finish and now Nero lists Image Files .nrg .iso .cue ,so just go a find your iso. hoose ok and select File and Burn. Now you should be all set!
