If you're not too far from your towers (check antennaweb.org), it'll be great.

Edit: It's also worth mentioning that you should check to make sure all your HDTV locals are broadcasting on UHF and not VHF, since the Silver Sensor won't pick up any VHF channels except maybe for the higher ones (12-13 work fine for me).
 
yea really depends how far are you from the towers. like what someone else said, try antennaweb. I'm in irvine, 40 miles away from the towers, and i need a amplified uhf antenna. W/ a regular one I could not get a few channels. But I bought a amplified terk uhf, and now I get all the dtv stations in South OC.
