They are having their 30th anniversary soon. What should I get them? quick I need to buy something in two days!

This is an easy one:
Get a nice old photo of your parents on their wedding day, then find a nice photo of them together (present day). Find a cool frame that can fit both photos together.

OR, just get a pic of them from their wedding day and find a poem about marriage (in a positive light) and frame both of them. Either find someone that has nice handwriting to write the poem or get a nice font on your computer.

and FINALLY... find out what your moms bouquet was when they were married... go to a nice florist in the area and have them make an arrangment with the same flowers she had 30 years ago.
TRUST ME... it will make her cry, especially if you can replicate the bouquet!

Awesome! thanks Lola. My parent's 25th aniversary is coming up in May and I have been wondering what to get them for the longest time. Your ideas are greats.

couldn't he just kick her in the shin?

save a whole lot of time and money :)

stoopid boys.... I WAS BEING HELPFUL... were you?! ;)

i'm still waiting for a price range, but the picture idea is very nice, it just seems like it would make her happy, not cry

Women cry when they are happy. This is why we males think that they are insane.

The flowers would be more of the thing to make a sentimental gal cry. I know if someone got me a bouquet of flowers just like i had at our wedding just a few years ago... i would cry. It would make me remember the feelings i had looking at my flowers as i walked to meet my future husband.

unfortunately I cant find pics of them at their wedding day.. keep in mind this was 30 years ago and digital cameras werent invented yet...

with the bouquet, I have NO idea what her bouquet was.. maybe I should just get them flower arrangements?

regarding budget: $1000 perhaps

sending them on a vacation is not a good idea since they just got back from one

I am thinking of getting them a 32 inch LCD tv. They like getting stuff that are useful. The tv can be used by both of them.

is there NO one to ask about the flowers? no aunts? anyone? and NO ONE has any wedding photos? hell, my gramma still has photos of their wedding 58 years ago.

well, good luck either way. :)
