Other then the Audigy ZS. Has to be 5.1. I hear some memebers here know of better cards, but they never seem to mention them. Any ideas? 😕

Again this is for my HTPC project.
 
Chaintech AV-710 (w/ optical out) is easily better than any of Creative's Audigy line sound cards. But if you want something even better, check out Creative's pro line E-MU sound cards 0404, 1212, and 1820, all w/ optical in and out. Head-fi.org has more info on the cards mentioned.
