Need an MP4 player

Media player 9 won't touch them. Divx player says it will, but it lies.

I know quicktime 6 will, but it's slower than a slug and super-bloated as an added bonus.

Mpegable (which I used to encode) also works, but I thought MP4 was supposed to be an industry standard readily playable on all platforms.

Thanks guys.

I'll take a look at sasami, but for the moment - only QT6 and Mpegable will play my .mp4 videos - nothing else I've tried will do them.

At least mpegable is fast - plays back 360x288 video at 25 fps without lag on my P2-233 - an encodes at about 5 fps. QT6 drops about 1/2-2/3 of the frames when playing back.

I'm gonna try the sorenson encoder, but suspect it will be slow as anything.
