Nixie clock and Headphone amps have been tackled with great success... Time to move on to something else.

Any recs on interesting projects? Preferably electronics, or technology based projects. I would love to get into woodworking/furniture, but without any tools or a garage at this time, its just not feasible.

Well, a solar powered penis pump might just get your "woodworking", although if you really don't have a tool that could present a problem.

Take any ordinary simply mechanical object and replace it with a completely impractical and overcomplicated yet extremely cool electrical substitute.

My hobbies are fermentation and yardwork.
I make beer\wine\cider
and restructure my landscape with native plants.

IIRC you're floridian and don't have a house, so landscaping may be out, but you COULD grow orchids which is something I can't do up here.
You could ferment in a closet, it's not hard.

If I were looking for a technology project and had a room for it, I'd probably do a build your own projector.

oooooo, i have an idea.

I need to develop some type of flashing light that can be wirelessly triggered by my wife.

When I sit in my office with my headphones on, I can't hear her calling worth a damn.
