Need an FM *or bluetooth* transmitter for the bedroom

Hi, all. I'm looking for an FM transmitter that can run on AC power (no batteries) and can maintain good sound quality at 15 feet (so car FM transmitters won't work). This is a hard thing to search for on teh interwebs; a bunch of iPod accessories is all I find. I did find some $125+ devices, but those seem to be geared more toward radio hobbyists (read: underground radio) and special purposes. I just want to hear the TV when I need to be quiet. I also don't want to be stuck with one specific set of headphones; I'd rather be able to plug any headphones into a receiver.

Thanks!

edit: I'm now also considering bluetooth. Thanks

I'm listening... Mind helping me find a good transmitter and receiver pair for cheap? Unfortunately, the iPhone doesn't work as a receiver. I'd rather not use my laptop... It's hard to sift through the CRAP products.

sorry, no experience with any of these products.

I am a hard wire person.

Buy one that runs on battery or car power. Dig up an old AC adapter that has the required output (12V for example). Cut off the output plug on the AC adapter. Solder the wires onto the battery terminals on the FM transmitter.

Due to the nature of supply and demand, this is bound to be your cheapest option.

I own two of these things and they work great. But notice that it takes one of those tiny audio cables. There are other car mp3 transmitters that take a normal size audio plug.
