Need an external hard drive with ability to clone

It needs to be able to clone a hard drive (OS and all) preferably within Windows so I can remote into the PC and do the backup. Looking for a solution that doesn't require a 3rd party software that I'll have to purchase separately.
 
If you get a drive that comes with software it will be built into the price. Why not just get an external and exactly the software you want to use?

I have not see any consumer USB drives that come with bare metal restore/imagin software. (aside from the Apple Timecapsule)
