I need an elastic waistband because the coveralls I'm using are intended for a fat guy and are too baggy around the waist, making it feel weird. So in order to remedy this issue, I was wondering where I can get an elastic waistband kind of like what is found on a pair of sweat pants. The coveralls pretty much fit me everywhere else except around the waist and it feels weird and I don't like it. The coveralls have an elastic waistband built in, only problem is, I can't utilize it because of the size it's designed to expect.

These are brand new... Problem is, the smaller ones that "fit" better don't allow me to bend my knees or bend over and even get half way to touching my feet. The only way to make the coveralls longer on the back was to get the next size up which meant a larger waist.

Buy a belt

I don't want to use a belt because it needs to stretch and a belt won't stretch and could get very uncomfortable. So it needs to always be snug since there are no loop holes for such a belt.

Do you need alternator sized overalls?

OP, I've asked more than once, how the old are you?

And do you go on Ritalin holidays prior to posting?

You can buy elastic from a sewing shop. It could be a PITA to install if you're not adept at sewing. An easy way would be to sew small belt loops inside the coveralls, then use thin shock cord like a belt internally. Appearance wouldn't matter, and it's quick to do.

Wait, you're saying you need a giant rubber band?

While it would look really funny, just use a belt. Or get new coveralls.

Fill the remaining space with an air bladder. It will help you better control your weight and regulate your food intake.

maybe he could hook it up so the air bladder is full of beer and has a hose on it that extends to his mouth so he could suck up some beer when he gets thirsty.
