Need an easy to use NAS

With people's experience using a NAS which one seems to be the easiest to use? I am getting this for a friend of mine and he wants some things to be able to do. He wants to be able to access with his iPad at home and on the road. His co worker needs to be able to access it when he is on the road also from his laptop. The user interface needs to be user friendly if that is possible. 4 bay would be good so raid 5 can be used. Anyone care to give their 2cents. Thanks

I've owned QNAP and Synology. Hated the QNAP and love the Synology. Take it with a grain of salt as it was several years ago I had the QNAP and I am sure the software has changed quite a bit. The Synology has a ton of plug-ins available and a huge user community for support and even more user created plugins. They aren't cheap but worth it to me.

Synology is my recommendation. Easy to use and has a ton of features. They offer a quick connect service which is good for remote access.

I have a Synology 1010+ and like it also, but I was just wondering if there were any new NAS's out there that were even easier to use. I am leaning toward the Synology again with the QNAP right there.
