Need an easy router for dad.

My dads current router isn't very good, it's cheap and it shows.
Lot of steps required and even then it's not guarenteed to work and even when working there are problems.

Could someone suggest a good router $50.00-$100.00 that's high quality and very easy to set up as well as reliable once up and running.

The router needs to support wired connections (already have cables) and it needs to be wireless Wii compatible.

I think you missed the title, Keeleysam. Unfortunately, customizing a router with an ad-hoc firmware does not fall into the easy category.

OP: any of the routers mentioned are probably fine for your father, hold the tomato.

ive run into alot of problems with the linksys WRT54G routers. i havent experience with the others, but ive seen several of those randomly default themselves :/

the buffalo units are nice, havent had a problem with them yet, but ive only set up 3 or 4 of them
