A customer asked me this and I didn't know the exact answer. And I can't find it on the net.

He asked if he could combine the bandwidth from 2 dsl lines to get more total bandwidth. He currently has 1 1 MB up/down line from Quest and uses a Cisco 675 modem. He wants to get another 1 MB up/down line. He asked if he could combine that bandwidth so he gets 2 MB up/down throughput.

My thinking is yes. But what hardware/software is needed to do this. I've never done a setup like this with dsl.

Does anyone know?

the Cisco 1700's have 2 WAN ports but I think those have a T1 interface.

I need something like that but only for dsl....

Anyone ever done this?
