Need an AIO printer that has the fax/scanner and printer accessible via network. Is one available?

Go to Staples/CompUSA etc. and take a look at the Brother line.

Brothers has All in ones that are Network capable starting a little above $100.

The fax and the scanner are as Good as any. The printer is as Good as most All in ones.

All in one printers are as good as any for Text; they are usually not at par with stand alone printers when it comes to Glossy Color Printing.

Take a look at the Dell Laser 1600N

It is not only a good laser printer but you can now scan and print from the network also. And it's only $399 If your looking for something cheaper, definately look at the Brother line, although I have not too many good things to say about the Brother inkjet all in ones. I used mine for about 2 months then one of my color print heads clogged up so bad, I couldn't get it unclogged, I don't know what happened with it. Then I went to laser and everything's working like a charm. Nothing beats quality, speed and cost like laser.

Nice recommendation. Do you know if the toner is available from places other than Dell?

This Brother would fit the bill nicely. Anyone have one?

A $30 off coupon, a few % back from ebates/FW and the $40 GC rebate make it awfully appealing.

If you can afford it, check out the HP OfficeJet 7310. It has all the features you are looking for, and is an excellent photo printer. You can even use access memory cards over the ethernet interface.

Since the Dell printers are usually manufactured by someone else (usually Lexmark) I'd probably say you could but I don't know for a fact on that. But the price they have them at isn't bad at all. $80 for a 5,000 page toner. As far as the HP Officejet 7310, I was looking at that but it has some horrible reviews as far as being loud, things not working most of the time, etc. My vote is still for the Dell 1600N for cost, being a laser all in one and the fact that you can also scan to network computers.

I don't trust brother inkjets at all anymore. The last one I had seemed ok but as far as printing photos, it was absolutely horrible. Then after two ink refills, the heads clogged up so bad I just ended up tossing it because of how much the ink cost and it would run a ink cleaning every night at about 2am, so even if I never used the printer, I'd have to replace the ink about once a month.
