What do you mean my standard stereo cables?

My old stereo receiver has those black and red clips that can be used with regular speakers wire.

Okay this is the setup, logitech z-680, connected to speakers, (contron panel has coaxial, stereo input, and fiberoptics input), My computer is going to be pluged in using fiber optic cable, and I want to plug in my tv also, But since on that control panel there is only a stereo inputs, and coaxial inputs, I have to convert the speaker wires from the input of the tv, so a standard stereo cable that can be pluged into the control panel of my speakers.

Oh, so it is z-680s, not like them, eh?

Have you used these before? The black and red clips are the outputs to the speakers.

Your control module is what you want to connect inputs to.
I don't understand "speaker wires" as an input to your TV.
Most TVs would be using RCA cables for input or a Coax cable.

Does your tv have audio output?
Do you have the tv connected through a VCR or Cable Box?

Well I can get a cable box, but the problem is the only way to hook up my speakers to the computer is thru the black and red clips, there's no coxial cables, or fiber optic cables, just the clips.

The red and black things are for the speakers to plug into.

There should be three 1/8" stereo plugs that go into your computer's soundcard. You would then select 6 channel direct on the control pod.

If you were going to plug the red and black things into your computer, what were you planning on connecting the speakers to?

The clips are made for speaker wire to connect the subwoofer and its internal amps to the speakers.

It should go Computer to Control Panel to sub to speakers

Did you read the manual?

No you don't understand Lol, I have my speakers hooked up normaly, but I want to hook up my tv also, Now my tv has the same clip thing as the sub woofer, so I want to hook up the speakers to both my computer, and my tv, all I'm looking for is something that I can put the wires into the clips on the back of my tv, and the adapter wouldmake it a stereo chord (like ones on xboxs, ps2s, game cubes ect...) so I can plug that stereo cable into the control pod. Therefore when I click the input for the fiberoptics, it'll have the audio for my computer coming out, and when I click hte input for direct stereo, my tv audio will come out.

Oh, I was really confused as to what was going on.

I've only connected on the RCA level, so I don't have any advice for powered speaker outputs.

Is this like a plasma set or something? (I've seen some with speaker wire outputs)

Alright well another adaptor question, do they make an rca http://www.zpluscable.com/images/products/stereo-rca-end.jpg to a coaxial cable ? Becuase my tv also has rca cable output, for stereo, but on the pod there's only a coaxial and a 1/4th stereo port (3)

Oh, that's a lot simpler.

Just take the RCA output and run it to the 1/8" stereo inputs.
Run male-male RCA cable to one of these
or one of these with a male-male 1/8" extension cable.

The output is analog. If you wanted to run it to the coax input, you'd have to convert it to digital somehow.
