believe me i have this exact amp and itll be more than enough for what you are looking for. 25 watts is what they sell it as but imho Rockford Fosgate is underrated.

Hmmm

Ok, well.... Why is it that it can achieve 100wx1 but only 20wx2 why cant it do 50wx2 or 25wx4?

i would assume that it is because the 100W x 1 is running at different OHMs then the 25W x 2

<< 50 watts x 2 at 2 ohms
100 watts x 1 in bridged mode
>>

meaning that: 25 watts x 2 at 4 ohms

Hmmm ok, what about dual voice coils? check this out

speakers

Now, it says wire them in paralell for a 2ohm load.. does that mean ill double the load from my head unit, taking it from 35 to 70? also, how do I wire them in parrelell? thanks

See there is so much more that goes into buying an amp than just the amp.. would simply adding those speakers, to replace my rear stocks provide a decent upgrade?

yes i did a similar upgrade in my blazer by replacing the rear 6 x 9's with some Pioneer 6 x 9's and it was a good upgrade. i eventually added an amp but i could have lived with out the amp

I picked up a good deal on the head unit..I got a lower model on an auction... had a ton of trouble with it, so eventually they just upgraded me... I was very happy.... that kind of sold me on blau punkt

so.... how much do you know about wiring the dual voice coils? will wiring them in paralell really drop it to 2ohms and increase the power output of the amp in my deck?

the head unit specs say a max power of 35watts x 4 so i dont if it would be a good idea to run the speakers at 2ohms off of the deck

yeah according to the owners manual of your deck: speaker impedance of 4-6 ohms

What would be the consequences of running them at 2ohms off of the deck? would it hurt the deck or speakers? or just degrade the sound? also how does one wire them in parelell?
