Need alternative high speed fans for the 7 volt mod. What are the options?

I have the Evercool AL8025B Aluminum fans in there, the H model. I performed the 7 volt mod trick to quiet
those loud beasts down (running exclusively throught the system)

1 In the PSU blowing out
1 On top of the Alpha 8942 Cooler
1 Behind the CPU blowing towards the HS/Fan

Before I had Vantec Stealths. But they were short lived fans (but longer than Panaflo's with better cooling).
So this time around I wanted better cooling. Well, as far as cooling goes, it works no better than the Stealths
did. System temp 69°C and CPU temp 57.5°C under full load.
CPU temps went down 1.5°C since I did the switch, but the system temps rose that much for the trade-off.

What other fans are inaudible that provide better cooling with the 7 volt mod? I want to stay away from
Panaflo as the only last 8 months (they all died at the same time too :p). The Stealths are just as quiet as
Panaflo's, but I do not like the temps at all, plus they run off the motherboard :p.

Now do not worry about the system temps, after sticking a probe in my case... Abits Hardware Doctor most
definately gives false readings. Not sure about the CPU though...

Anyway my aim is to get that CPU temp down in the 40°C range (45°C tops) and the system temps to
around the same using Abits troubled Hardware Doctor.

BTW, no need telling me of the benifits of the ever popular adjustable speed fan. I am running rather
expensive experiments for good silent cooling using exclusively the 7 volt mod. Shipping to Alaska is not
cheap and I currently have those TT fans.

Thanks in advance.

are you sure the system temp os 69°C? how can the temp inside the case be hotter than the cpu temp?
i think the sensor you have isn't working correctly

That is what Abits Hardware Doctor reports. The last time I put a probe in when it read 65°C, it really turned out to be somewhere in the 30°C range... but forgot the exact temp.

If I remember correctly, and please correct me if Im wrong but arent Alpha heatsinks made to have the fan sucking the air away from them?

If the fan is operating the wrong way then you may have higher temps. Might be worth flipping the cpu fan over.

I am trying out the experiment of removing the fan shroud and blowing air onto it instead of away.
Seems to be working, but obviously there is something wrong with my case temp detector. Not sure about the CPU... Otherwise it does cool a little better :)
