Need AGP Advice

Hello all, long time reader, first time poster.

I need some advice on a replacement on my 4200 just died recently. I was quite content with the performance it gave regardless of its age. The current games I play are World of Warcraft and Counter Strike.

I have been stuck over of either get a card now or wait for the 7600gs/gt agp versions to come out. I would rather not move onto pci-e unless I have no other choice.

I can find a x800xl for $120, my only reserve is lack of SM3 support. Or am I fussing about a feature that is insignificant? Any comments/advice would be appreciated.

Current Specs:
Intel P4 2.4b@2.7
1gb DDR400
Via P4PB Ultra
GF4 Ti4200(broken)

6600 GT is probably the best bet... unless you can fork up the money for a 6800 GT/GS, you should be in good shape. A friend of mine is still running a 6600 GT, and he loves it. Of course, he's jealous of my 7600 GT and our other friend's X850 XT, but he likes the cheapness. The 6600 GT is definitely a great bang for the buck (you could probably find one on FS/FT for about $100).
