Need advise on a mp3 player with satellite radio capability.

My old man is interested into buying the Stiletto 100 live portable satellite radio and mp3 player. I check the cnet review and it doesn't look too possitive since it only got very imit amount of storage for mp3. Is there a better alternative?

The hooker here is whether or not you mean real time LIVE satellite radio. That is a very narrow option, and it is not really all that great because you have to have the antenna system, and the best there is right now is in a headphone set - and not too wonderful.

And since there is a pending merger between XM and Sirius, I would wait and see what falls out. It could make a difference.

Well, all of the Windows PDA phones can play MP3 and receive both the Satellite Radio systems via the Internet. Add 2 to 4GB of RAM for lots of MP3 room.

I haven't used one, but the Sirius Stiletto models look impressive, also.

And, like I said - you are only recording from what your computer or receiver is streaming. Live Satellite on a iPod? Not yet. You need a big hat to hide the antenna. 🙂

Right now, this is the closest there is to what you want. BTW - if the FCC doesn't allow the merger, Sirius wiull be the first to decalre bankruptcy.
