I have a P3 500, Viper 770,256mb ram, Sb Live...now other than the obvious(building a new machine) would I notice a dramatic increase in performance if I upgraded my vid card to a GF3 ti 200? or radeon 8500?

You would notice a performance increase obviously, but how dramatic I don't know. As far as I am aware both those cards require hefty processors (700Mhz+) take full advantage of the cards power.
