Need advice

I recently got the amd 1.4 and a dragon orb 3.

I have load temps in the high 40's low 50's and am experiencing crashes.
underclocked to 1.2 provides better stability but load's are only a couple degrees cooler.

Does this sound like a cooling prob or a motherboard prob?
I ask b/c my abit kt7A has had intermittent probs otherwise (not serious enough to warrant an RMA as of yet though)
