Need Advice....

Okay....I found out that band is going to take up almost all of my time as of soon...and I also found out that due to the cost of band, almost any time I didn't have band, I would have to spend trying to make money for band...Which sucks. I originally joined band just to have fun...I didn't intend band to take up all my life (like some people). My parents don't seem to have any input, so I'm wondering what you guys think. Thank you.

Is this a band for actually playing gigs or something or just with friends.

My advice is if you aren't gonna get much out of it, quit

I think it's a HS band (possibly marching?) Band's gonna take up time anyways. You'll have trips (well we had that). It should always be fun. If it feels like it's gonna be a burden for you (which seems like it is from your post) then just don't do it. You''ll 1) spend less time trying to make money, and 2) spend that extra time for school work

HS Band? I quit mine after two years, stupid director would just yell at us every rehersal for all the people who weren't there.
