So I have about $15,000 to spend on a car, and I'm not sure what to get. I'm considering a Civic or Accord DX, but I'm not sure. It has to be a brand new car. Also, when's the best time to buy, when are the dealership sales? Thanks for the help.🙂:sun:

If he wants to pay it all right away, is it cheaper?

Not necessarily. For example, if he has some high interest rate debt outstanding, he's better off financing the car at a lower rate and using the cash to pay off the higher rate debt.

Its a little above your budget.. Scion tC

Well, it's still possible with my budget, and it's a pretty good looking car (the only problem with the new accord sedans is they have a really fugly back) but becuase this is a new line of cars I'm not sure about it's long term endurance. I've had my 92 accord since it was a new car 12 years ago and it still runs great.

ok it's better to get a higher model civic then a lower modem accord. WHY would you get a bone base empty DX when you can have a civic fully equipped? Well unless you want to. Think of it this way... would you like to get a 1 room apartment in manhatten, or a 3 story house in staten island?

If we're comparing, I would be comapring the Civic LX to the Accord DX. Well the Accord is more powerful and bigger. I suppose the Civic lookes better. The Accord is about $1000 less.

get a accord lx, no airconditioning in the dx right? :Q

No A/C is standard with power doors and cd player and stuff. Me thinks the LX is a bit too much for not that big of a difference.

meh

DX used to have nothing at all. I guess it's a good idea to get Accord DX after all. I am not seeing too much difference in DX and LX here.
