I'm prety new at bios and jumper settings, I just upgraded from a 1 gig to a 1.33 gig, 266 fsb, but my computer still only recognised 1 gig, so I manualy set my bios settings, can someone tell me if these are the best settings for my system?

You have it correct, for PC133 SDRAM, running the CPU at 1.33GHz. If you want to overclock however...:D

What would be the best settings to overclock to 1.4 or maybe a little more?

Try upping the FSB (From 133MHz) in small increments first (you usually get better performance from increasing that, rather than the clock multiplier, as memory bandwidth is the bottleneck - a 133x10 1.33Ghz system is faster than a 100x13 1.3Ghz ). Don't go too far, as your memory may not keep up. 140x10 would be 1.4Ghz. Watch the CPU temp though, don't want to burn that nice new Athlon. If it won't post, back off the FSB.

Of course, you don't really NEED to OC a 1.33Ghz system, do you?

AMDFan: Of course he needs to overclock his 1.33GHz CPU. You may not be aware of this but it's an unwritten rule than in order to remain a member in good standing at AnandTech one must overclock, regardless of the CPU's stock speed.
