I am refurbing a couple jetskis and man, the cost of logos/stickers/decals is outrageous. I want to see what it would entail to get into printing stickers at home. I have the computer, I can get sticker paper, but what type of printer would I need for this? Looking for input from someone who does this already and can print larger than 8.5x11 images, what would I need?

I want to print stickers/decals that are waterproof and UV proof for at least 3-4 years. I want to be able to make decals up to 30 inches long, give or take and 8-10 inches tall.

I've googled, but thought someone on here might do this already and could give advice. For what I want to do, it would cost me upwards of $500.00 just for the stickers for the skis I want to update and if I can do this at home and change the decals at will, then I'd rather go that route.

I don't have any useful input, but I'm also interested in hearing about this.

Well, So I ended up purchasing that cameo but not the starter bundle. I bought the roller package and 3 12 inch x 10 foot rolls of vinyl adhesive sticker material, white, blue, and black. That should cover most of the stickers I need. I told a friend and already have a couple orders pending of some quad copter stuff he does along with his logo.

Also picked up a roll of transfer tape. It's a must have when transferring the sticker from the paper to the vehicle..

Got the silhouette cameo 2 in and wow, its super easy to use. I've printed a lot of stickers last night (cut, not printed), and have some orders already for some stuff. This is pretty sweet imho. Super easy to make things like stickers/name tags for your yeti mug, etc.

Going to try some larger jetski cutouts tonight.
