Hola!

I just OC'ed my 6800GT to a nice (at least nice for me ;) ) 420/1150 yesterday and ran 3Dmark05 6-7 times and all is well for now. I even played Oblivion for 2 hours and the temps are quite good.

Now i'd like to Oc my A64 3200+ but don't really know how to do it "safely". I saw there is 2 way to get up the freq and is by the Multiplier and the Frequency itself which can be upped by 1Mhz increment.

Which is the safest way to go, get at x11 immediatly (which means 2200MHz) or up the Mhz by 10-15 at a time?

Thanks for your advices

Actually, all of the A64s are multiplier up-locked--you can reduce the multiplier, but you can't increase it. Therefore, you have to increase the fsb a little at a time. I'd recommend you isolate and consolidate. There used to be a sticky FAQ about overclocking an AMD CPU. Try doing a search for it. I'll see if I can't dig it up for you in the mean time.

*Edit* Here it is.
