vs an ILO 26" widescreen LCD HDTV monitor http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=3757024
Both list they can be used as a big pc monitor. Which one is better? I dont know much about hdtv's or LCD's yet. Would appreciate any input.

I'd buy this Viewsonic instead.

Thanks. fixed them. What does the integrated tuner mean? Is it better? Also what is the difference between response time and refresh rate. The ILO lists one as 10ms and the other as 16ms.

The Viewsonic looks nice but I wouldn't consider buying through newegg. Their return policy stinks. What I liked about walmart.com is the liberal return policies and the fact that you can also return things to a physical store.

integrated tuner means you can use it as a stand-alone television.
(Usually regular tv not HDTV-Mostly u need an HDTV box for that)
So the ILO can be used as a TV.
WIth the Tatung I beleive you'd need a TV card or other tuner like a
VCR or cable box.

Lower response time means less "ghosting" of the image in games and
when playing DVD movies.

Refresh rates are lower for LCD's than CRT's typical is 60-75Hz.
(Response time is a more important spec)
