I installed Win2k on a partition that already had Win 98 SE, making my computer dual-bootable. But I'm experiencing some problems, particularly with programs that are shared between them (like Zone Alarm Pro).

I'd like to delete Win2k and re-install on another partitition. AFIK, what I do is boot from a Win 98 boot disk and type sys c:. I then can manually delete the Win2k folder, ntloader, boot.ini, etc.

Is this the wrong way to go? Any other suggestions? TIA

What you have outlined is probably the best way to do it.
