NEED ADVICE RE:PayPal Invoice?

I'm sure someone here will know the answer to this!

I met a seller on ebay, he had a listing for an item I was looking for. I nocticed that he sold alot of audio stuff so i asked if he had somthing else i was looking for. It turns out he does. He's offered to pack them togeather so i can save on shipping. Since the second item isn't listed on ebay he said he'd send me a PayPal invoice for payment. Is this invoice any gaurentee that i'll get my items? Is this particularly risky?

That's VERY risky. Don't do it. Buy both items on ebay. Have him create a new auction with free shipping on the item in question if you want to make sure you don't get scammed.

Or just pay the few extra bucks
