need advice on video issue

on certain games when i load up, my moniter will go completely black.
the led light flashes.... i have tried all types of drivers, hz settings. seems to be random... game type.. need for speed porche 2000. whats funny is that i can hear the game playing, but no screen.

im pretty sure its the monitor. any settings i could be missing.
different drivers effect different games....

my previous mobo, soyo k7vta same problem.... any ideas would appreciated.

I don't think it's your monitor as you say that only some of your games do that. I'd just recommend that you dowload the latest patches for those games that do that.
