NEED ADVICE ON USED MINI ASAP!

A friend just asked me to look at a used Mini Cooper he's interested in in 30 minutes. Are there any major issues that one should watch for on these cars? It's an '02 with 80,000 miles for $10,000.

Ok found it, looks like the reliability for the 2002 isn't that great. Check out JD power JD power long term reliability ratings

Thing is Coopers have rediculous resale , so even if he doesn't like it he should be able to get out for what he got in with

Nope. Turns out he wants to spend less than $10k.

For that, you basically ensure a salvage title.
