Ok... Im buying some new crap for my computer I now have a thermaltake XASERIII case, and I am unhappy with both its size and cooling abilities, and messy wiring inside... 7FANS!!!! (they work crappy) thats a lot of connectors... So I was wondering what is a better case thats pretty cheap ($20-$65) that is a mid-tower, lightweight, and good cooling, (preferablly with a side window and LED fans) But not a necessity.
I need some suggestions, also input to other case will be appreciated.
Current Specs:
450watt Antec PS
Thermaltake XASERIII( I'd like something light I've been going to a lot of LANS basically and its a bitch to hual a 50lbs.+ case around)
Abit KV8 pro
a64 2800+(hope to oc after I get better case, cpu idles around 45c load at 52c with the zalman beast fan on it)
Zalman 92mm hs/f all copper
1GB 3200DDR Value Mushkin
9800XT 256MB(soon to be 6800GT)
120GB Seagate 8MB cache @ 7,200rpm
60GB MAXTOR 8MB cache @ 7,200rpm
SB Audigy2 ZS
Space for components is also a concern...
Demon Case
Sky Hawk
LOGISYS Blue
Any more cases you guys might suggest for me that is a mid tower?
Now for a matter of speakers, my speakers suxors, I mean they totally blow so I was looking at logitechs z-680s for example and I just fell in love with them, however I am also looking at the klipsch 2.1
Z-680s
Klipsch 2.1
I know which one of these is obviously more economical, but will I notice a big difference between the two? I know klipsch is like the best in the business for gamer speakers so are they worth the $150 for the 2.1s or are the Z-680s better overall for the price/5.1 setup?
I am a hard core gamer, who will be playing WoW in beta, also when retail hits(World of Warcraft) mostly all day, and eventually when it comes out Half-Life 2, so which speakers are better for games overall I should say?
Now for the Video Card, I know gainward and others are excellent companies and I would like to be able to turn up AA and AF at 1280x1024 on WoW and max it out without a hitch, unlike my 9800XT @ native speeds struggles.
Gainward
Leadtek
BFG
My question is here which one is better for OC'ing and I would like to hit Ultra speeds, I know that the BFG comes overclocked but I also heard the gainward even though not stated comes overclocked to Ultra speeds, I may be mistaken can anyone clarify this for me?
Question from a friend:
He is wondering whether or not the Thermaltake is a quality powersupply, I have told them thermaltake is a quality maker of powersupplies and have warned him about getting a crappy one for his new system. He is concerned that even from a quaity powersupply maker that it is too cheap and might be low quality because of that, any comments on that?
Thanks for any advice you might have 🙂
