Need Advice On These Parts

My brother is building a new PC and I have been helping him pick the parts. But, as usual, I am running the parts by Anandtech before he buys them just in case there is something specific about one piece of hardware that I am unaware of.

Case NZXT TEMPEST Mid ATX
Motherboard ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
GPU EVGA 896-P3-1267-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked Edition 896MB
PSU CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V
CPU Intel Core2 Quad Q9400 2.66GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor
RAM OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
HDD Western Digital Caviar Black WD7501AALS 750GB 7200 RPM 32MB
DVD-ROM SAMSUNG Black 22X DVD+R
OS Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-bit
Speakers Logitech Z-4 40 watts 2.1 Speaker

Mouse, Keyboard, and Monitor will be added at a later time. For the time being, the hardware is essential.

Any and all opinions/comments are greatly appreciated.

Me like many others are lazy and don't want to open up new windows/tabs for each part to see what it is. You may want to list what the part is next to the link.

Do you really want to use that Q9400? The E8400 would probably be a better pick I think.

Exactly what are you going to be doing with this build? Gaming?

You can probably get a 9800 GTX+ or a 4850 cheaper than what you have.

The PC will be just for gaming and my brother wants a Quad Core. The e8400 is a dual core (what I'm using). Also, the GTX260 is more powerful than the 9800GTX+. My old roommate has the 9800GTX+ and I beat him in all of the benchmarks. Both have 4GB of RAM and the same CPU as well.

If you have the money to spend then yeah go for it. Also why does you're bro want a Quad core anyways? It's not like he will ever need it.

Quad helps in some games, such as SupCom and GTA 4.

GTX 260 216 is a great card.

Don't use OCZ RAM - I've personally had problems with their "performance" sticks (twice) and have read lots of problem posts from people with similar experiences. Get the G.Skill 2x2GB DDR2-800 sticks for $40 (shipped) or the Corsair 2x2GB DDR2-800 sticks for $25AR, both from newegg.

Thanks for the information. I shall pass that along and see what he wants to do.

As for the OCZ Reaper, my old roommate bought four sticks of 1GB Reaper RAM and had some trouble with it. I chocked it up to the four 1GB sticks as opposed to two sticks of 2GB. Personally, I have always used Patriot, but I am very happy with my Mushkin. On top of that, I have heard good things about G.Skill, but never brought myself to using anything from them.
