Need advice on speakers

I had some Fluance stuff (basically before I knew what I was doing) and they're ok, but nothing special.

I think you could do better.

I'm still reccomending the Best Buy NSB-2111s. At $73/pair, they're a good deal, but when they go on sale (which happens from time to time) for under $60, they're a very very good deal.

The NSB-2111s also have a perversely large amount of room for cheap improvement. The sound quality can be improved (measurably!) by adding a bit of rock wool or very low density pillow stuffing to the inside, and a $20 crossover mod can do wonders for the frequency response.
