So here is the deal....

I am going to be hosting a little party and would like to watch an internet broadcast on my main Sony tv. I will need audio as well....

What do I have for equipment:
1) 37" Sony 10 year old TV with RCA and s-video input (This is where I want to watch)
2) Wireless router signal being broadcast throughout the house
3) Ibm laptop T60 (no s-video output) but built in wireless card
4) 3 year old Dell Dimension 521 (which would be a pain to move because of all the connections but an option nevertheless)

This is a one-time event so I am looking to spend the least amount of $$$ with the least amount of work to be able to watch this internet broadcast on my big tv.

Suggestions or thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

I think you'll be disappointed if you try to use wireless... most wireless connections drop out occasionally... I for one have not been able to watch a streaming anything over a wireless connection yet.

I appreciate the feedback and am looking into the VGA to S-Video or VGA to RCA Component cables.

Now I have to find out if my laptop supports TV out.........

That should be a challenge.

I have a Ibm T60 2008-CTO and will contact Lenovo/IBM to find this out.

I spoke to somebody at monoprice and they said that they would be surprised if it did.
So, I may have to find a Plan B........

I will be back.

Thanks
