Need advice on preparing a 1.2 GHz T-Bird "C" for overclocking in the future.

I have decided on the following platform for my next system. I want it stock for now (keep it in warranty), but ready to overclock in the future.

IWill KK266R
AMD 1.2 GHz T-Bird "C" 266MHz
Crucial PC133 CL2 memory
Enlight 7237 case w/300w PSU

The advice I need is:
1) Do I need to make any modifications to the chip before I install the heatsink and fan? I shouldn't have to for stock but what about later?

2) If I need to make modifications to the chip later, would I just clean off the grease, fill in the bridges, reinstall heatsink and fan?

3) If this is basicly a stock set-up will I need to have all of the extra cooling I keep reading about?

4) Does a 1.2GHz running at 1.2GHz run cooler than a 1.0GHz running at 1.2GHz?

I know that many of you overclock to the max (sounds like a good sport), but all I want a stable machine and leave the benchmark record breaking to others.

Thanks

If you check, your Athlon is probably unlocked. I haven't seen any posts related to the AXIA chips coming out locked. So you really don't have to do anything to overclock except jump in the bios and do it. That's all I did - not extreme but I haven't tried to. I ahve a 1.2G AXIA at 1450. Rock solid. Go for it.

In fact, except for the case, I've got the exact setup you're describing. Using a Super Orb cooler and running about 45C with no case mods. Yet. Changing that this weekend.
