I'm 19, whole family is out of town for the whole week, home from college for Spring Break, and I'm tired of going to the same old parties friend's throw. Any pointers from the veterans out there?

Try going to places where other people are. Also places that are open can be fun too.:)

Yakko's uncanny ability to help others with their most difficult problems is well documented at The Library Of Congress. ;)

If your looking for something interesting, just head to Ellum. There's always something going on down there. Go to the internet cafe and be 1337 and post on AT ;)

ah yes, internet cafe's. I've only known them to abound in the asian countries such as Taiwan and HK and such, but lately I've been hearing about some here in Dallas. Anyone know of any good ones or how late they're open?

bah, west end is too touristy..

deep ellum is an "artsy" disctrict in downtown, with the coffee-shop bean-head liberal types proliferating all the weird cafe's and tatoo parlor's ;)

check out a couple of months ago there was an article in Maxim men's magazine about where to go in my original home town of Dallas. :)

btw - after a long night at the bars you HAVE to go have breakfast at Cafe Brazil.. it will be packed but its well worth the wait

lol! :)

Yeah, I've eaten at Cafe Brazil a few times and it's quite a restaurant. The food is great, serve breakfast 24/7 (which is a good thing since I'm one of those people who wouldn't mind eating breakfast for lunch or dinner), and they also have unlimited refills on their various coffee flavors, which remind me by the way that I don't think I've tried all of them.....:)
